Day Camp

Day Camp is an exciting part of the program at Camp Assiniboia designed for families who wish to their camper to have the benefits of the camp experience for the day and the familiarity of the home environment for night.

Day camp will be a time for fun, for making new friends, for growing in faith and for experiencing God’s awesome creation.

Each day will be filled with varied and creative activities. There will be
… crafts like paper making
… nature activities like fire building or wild edibles
… drama
… games like capture the flag
There will also be a taste of the resident camp activities, such as archery, ropes, horses and swimming. Each day will include a worship session with engaging Bible lessons and rousing singing.

Three sessions are offered:

• July 14-18 Grades 1-4 $150
• July 21-25 Grades 1-4 $150
• July 28-Aug 1 Grades 3-6 $150

Bus transportation will be provided to and from Canadian Mennonite University South Campus, 600 Shaftesbury Blvd. The bus will leave at 8:30 a.m. and return at 4:30 p.m.
