Great Summer at Camps with Meaning
This was a great summer at camp! Campers enjoyed being in the outdoors doing a wide variety of activities; spending time reading the Bible; sharing together in song and worship; and hearing from Bible instructors, camp counselors and other campers about the fruits of God's Spirit and how they can come out in all of us. We had close to 900 children and youth campers and over 235 Adults with Disability campers go through our summer program this year. Over 260 staff and volunteers were a part of running our program this summer and we are very grateful for their time, generosity and caring hearts. Reflecting on how well the summer went it is easy to forget that our largest camp was severely affected by the flooding of the Assiniboia River. Yet the program was as strong as ever this year and a big part of that is because of the number of staff who made the best of it.
