Ultimate Frisbee Tournament at Camp Assiniboia

Purpose

To raise money and awareness for Camp Assiniboia. We really want to make this a larger community event. Please invite spectators, players, and anyone who might want to make a trip out to the camp for any reason.

The Ultimate

This is a recreational tournament. Two fields will be at Camp Assiniboia (CA) and two will be in the town of Springstein nearby. Since the CA fields will be a bit smaller than regulation size, we've decided to allow only six players on the field at once: three male, three female. Maximum team size will be 12 persons.

Technically, rules will be based on the Winnipeg Ultimate League rules, but there will need to be much grace for the many who may not have played league ultimate... (It's a very popular game at camp, but only the most basic rules are enforced eg. no running with the disc.)
